The spelling of bologna doesn’t correlate to the pronunciation whatsoever. Since both spellings of Bologna and Baloney are accepted in the USA why not just change it to one spelling for the USA market ? Just change it to Baloney it’s easy to spell and not confusing to look at. It’s weird to reference Bologna the city when referring to smoked meat or nonsense.
