The Issue
At the end of December Riverbend Golf Course closed in Ormond Beach after 29 years of operation. This leaves only one public course inside of Ormond Beach city limits and no courses in the heart of Ormond.
It is not unusual for cities to run a municipal golf course as a service to the residents. In fact, Daytona Beach, Port Orange and New Smyrna all have municipal courses.
Please sign the petition letting our City Council know that we would like the City of Ormond Beach to take over and run Riverbend Golf Course as a municipal course.
