Reject smallmouth deregulation

Reject smallmouth deregulation
The Issue
Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife is proposing to eliminate all warmwater bag limits on the Columbia, John Day, and Umpqua Rivers. This purely political move will not "fix" the decline in salmon stocks, but will lessen the value of the bass fishery. It also sets a dangerous precedent for the future of warmwater species management in Oregon. If you disagree with this proposed change, sign onto this petition, and please consider sending an e-mail to the Oregon Fish & Wildlife Commissioners at odfw.commission@or.state.us and urge them to reject this proposal.
