Wanted to highlight the following issues which has been troubling OCC Members recently.

1. Significant Number Of Private Events - In the first 3 weeks of October, at least 3 Private Events are being held per week. These events deprive Members the ability to play as there are limited half day slots available for booking and play has to complete by 12.30pm latest. These private events are also exposing members to a higher risk for Covid infection due to the congested locker room situation as the completion of the morning round coincides with the check in time of the Private Event.
2. Buggies are in a very bad condition with some having bald tyres posing a serious safety hazard particularly with frequent skidding on slopes made worse during wet weather.
3. The Male Locker Room toilet has been having a very bad rotting smell for more than a month now and many Members have raised the matter but the bad rotting smell has not been addressed.
4. OCC should also review to reinstate the Pre-Covid Rain Check rules as during recent wet weather conditions, many Members & Guests are paying full 18 Holes fees despite playing only 2-3 holes.
5. For new supporters of this petition, please do see the Update 8 for the issues represented to the President OCC after an initial OCC Management response to the petition. Update 10 provides the latest OCC Management Response. This latest response have largely addressed the original petition issues but have however introduced a new issue related to the Restriction Of Play which is deemed unfair to many Silver & Gold Members. Update 11 is an update to Supporters on the latest email request to President OCC to review the New Restriction of Play policy.
6. Please see Update12, 12a., 12b. & 12c. for the latest exchanges with OCC on the Restriction of Play issue.  The issue of Restriction of Play being unfair to Gold & Silver Members remain unresolved at this moment.
7. Do see Update 12d., which helps to provide some perspective to third parties with regards how the latest Restriction of Play policy implemented by OCC Management is deemed to be highly inequitable to Gold & Silver Members of the club.
