Dear Petition Signers,

We are thrilled to share incredible news: The Weingart Center has officially withdrawn its Homekey+ funding application from consideration with the California Department of Housing and Community Development. This means the Homekey+ project will not be placed in the heart of Torrance.

This is a tremendous victory for our community, made possible by each of you who signed the petition, stood with us, and raised your voices. Your dedication and support were instrumental in this outcome. Thank you for fighting alongside us.

Through this effort, we have formed C.A.R.E. Torrance (Citizens Advocating for Responsible Expansion & Proper Land Use). We are committed to keeping this group active to address future challenges our city may face.
