We, the under signed residents of Custer, Reed, and the surrounding townships are grossly upset about the proposed solar farm and strongly oppose it. We are urging the Will County Land Use board as well as the Will County Board to vote no on Case #ZC-24-025 and not allow the Acciona Company to start building and operating a solar farm in our townships. 

3600 acres of farm land, 12 square miles will be affected by this farm. Please sign this petition to stop a foreign company from getting  a foothold on America soil.  The wildlife and ecological flow will be affected.  Run-off water will eventually end up in the Kankakee River. There are only 93 days of full sun in Illinois.  How effective can it be?  Please sign and oppose this solar project. We would appreciate the support of the entire county on this matter.
