Residents are concerned about the proposed C-4 rezoning and planned Love's Travel Stop, RV park and highway-oriented commercial development at the I-269/Laughter Rd interchange.

Concerns include:

1. Increased truck traffic and congestion
2. Noise and light pollution
3. Safety on two-lane roads not designed for heavy truck volume
4. Future interstate commercial expansion near residential neighborhoods and the Lewisburg school corridor

This development would transform the I-269/Laughter Rd corridor from a primarily residential and rural-growth areas into a regional highway commercial hub centered around heavy truck traffic and interstate activity.

The Planning Commission hearing is Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 pm at 365 Losher Street
