Dear Supporters,
We successfully intervened in the Capital Planning Committee of the SF Recreation and Parks Commission. The Commissioners heard our objections and didn't approve the project despite a disingenuous presentation by the Recreations and Park Department.
This is good news, but it's not over; we keep the pressure on.
The next step is our Community meeting on October 11th, at 6:00pm, hosted by the Keep The Waterfront Open Organization to better inform and engage our residents on efforts to stop the destruction of the Marina Green. City Supervisor(s) and city officials are coming; this is a chance for you to give feedback to shape their thinking and to ask questions.
