Dear Supporters,
Since the last update, Supervisors Peskin and Safai have introduced an ordinance that would drastically limit the scope of the Recreations and Park Department's project and keep the SF Marina waterfront open. The West Harbor extension would be no more than 150 ft from the existing boundary (see image).
To get there, many volunteers have spent countless hours lobbying, reaching out, organizing, and attending meetings at City Hall. A big thank you to all who pitched in!
The next step is ensuring the ordinance passes with enough votes from the Board of Supervisors. The vote is presumably in January, and the more Supervisors hear about supporters of the ordinance, the more likely they are to support it themselves.
Please go to the form below and send a letter if you haven't done it yet. It's very easy, and you can customize the letter.
Thank you, and Happy Holidays!
