As residents of Churchill Road and Spencer Rise London, we are deeply concerned about the impending one-way system proposed for Churchill Road and Spencer Rise that primarily serves to benefit Chetwynd Road. This proposed change, deeply personal to us, will shift extra traffic that currently traverse Chetwynd Road onto our already traffic-congested streets. 

Without the provision of speed cameras and physical barriers — both of which are being introduced on Chetwynd Road — we're left vulnerable to increased traffic, increased speed, and potential accidents. Churchill Road and Spencer Rise deserve the same considerations and safety measures. Moreover, we should work to decrease traffic, not displace it. 

Through this petition we aim to  Prioritize all residents' opinions, safety and well-being by stopping the plans to introduce one way flow of traffic to these streets and to further introduce adequate traffic control measures such as speed cameras across all our streets, not just Chetwynd Road.
