As a parent of two children who attend Curious Minds Learning Centre in Maple Ridge, BC, Canada, I am deeply concerned about the school district's decision to replace our established daycare centre with an unknown (to us) corporation to operate our daycare and preschool programs. This move was made without consulting the parents or the teachers of the institution who are as well kept in the dark about the future of their jobs. 

Preserving Curious Minds Learning Centre is not only about maintaining the physical facility but also about valuing the teachers who have devoted their time and attention to nurturing the students. Curious Minds has been a pillar in our community for 17 years. Research shows that stability and continuity in early education have a significant impact on children's emotional well-being and academic success. It is deeply worrying that such a decision, affecting the lives of many, was made without a clear explanation or a transparent process.

Curious Minds Learning Centre has a unique place in our community. Many families, including my own, depend on Curious Minds for quality daycare and preschool education. It is up to us as parents, residents, and community members to speak up against this decision and demand transparency from the school district.

We call on the Maple Ridge School District to reconsider the decision to replace Curious Minds Learning Centre with an unknown corporation. We ask for a transparent explanation regarding the decision process and consequences for our children's education and teachers' professional security.
