Oppose the Farm Bill!
The Issue
The Farm Bill currently under consideration by Congress calls for the federal government to spend billions of taxpayer dollars each year to subsidize:
- production and sales of food proven to be unhealthy and cause serious health problems
- severe mistreatment and needless killing of farm animals
- tremendous environmental destruction
- spread of disease
- mistreatment of workers
Urge your Representative and Senators not to support the legislation!
