Planning application has been made for a large Solar Farm on meadow and farmland just south of Swainham Lane, Crowhurst, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex.

The current proposal covers 6 fields and will be in site of residents near and far, from those on the fringes of St leonard’s to every one that drives into the village. 

The current proposal will:

1. Effect ancient views from pubic footpaths and bridalways and be seen for miles around. 

2. Effect local wildlife and migratory large scale mammals, insects and invertebrates

Please sign the petition or feed back to the planning application  to help to reduce the  size and ambition of the application back to 3 fields where it will be less impactful whilst still  generating enough power for Crowhurst and Neighbouring communities.
