Oppose Pardons for Terrorists

On January 6th 2021, the United States Capitol Building was attacked by a mob of thousands of protesters.  The protest was called a ‘coup’ by President Trump’s adviser Steve Bannon.

The attackers injured 174 police officers.  A total of 10 people died: 
 6 people died within the first 36 hours.  Also, four responding officers died by suicide within the next few months.

January 6th  was an attack on all Americans:  Our institutions, our values, our commitment to a smooth transition of power.  

Law enforcement agencies managed to identify and charge over 1200 of the protestors for their role in the attack.   890 of these people were found guilty of federal crimes.  

Today, some misguided people in the US government are considering granting pardons to these domestic terrorists.  Any terrorist who seeks to subvert & destroy America should not receive a pardon.  A pardon would signal other terrorists that America is OK with being attacked.  

America is strong, and we will not cave to special interests who support terrorism.  

Please sign this petition to prevent granting pardons to the terrorists who attacked America on January 6th 2021.
