The community that encompasses Leatherwood Off-Road Park, in Leatherwood Kentucky have always been able to access the park before it became commercialized.
Now the new leasers of the property are expecting the poverty stricken community to pay a fee to ride on something that was once free for public use. This property has been free for over 8 decades.

It was thought that this park would grow business in the community and be something positive in the community. However the people who live around the park only see it as a problem. To us, it's a scam, a crock, and a fever dream. The only people benefiting from Leatherwood Off-Road is Terry Roberts and his family. There is nothing positive about it, just greed.

Our community does not have the funds to go on lavish vacations. To many, the reclaimed strip job, that is now the Park, was a place to vacation, camp out, hang out, and to hunt. Now it's a private club for the wealthy.

Also it is worth mentioning they have had multiple issues within the park. Vandalism and Destruction of park property to name a few. The park has become more dangerous with many trails being improperly made in ways the could lead to injury or death. There have also been very heated confrontations with locals and park patrons.

We are tired of the wealthy coming in and taking advantage of our tight-knit community.
