Blouvlei Action Group,acting in the public interest,is opposing the subdivision,rezoning and development on ERF 4722,reference no.15/4/1(4722)P)1848756):
Wellington's much loved recreational road is about to change forever. Approval has been granted to build 56 houses along the urban edge with more planned, which will turn 25% of this scenic heritage valley into an urban sprawl.

This area is a Metropolitan Open Space(MOS),with historic farms,within walking distance of town.Many residents and sporting disciplines use it for recreational purposes.The increase in road traffic,as a result of this development,will have a negative impact on these activities 

There is one last chance to object and hopefully Drakenstein Municipality will listen to the people, as in 'the people have spoken'.
