Dear neighbors,
It appears the push back against this new area plan is in full swing. Suggestions are to remove Brownland from the new area plan. The vote is tonight...we have until 4:30 PM CST to get your emails included into the public comments for tonight's meeting. Send them NOW PLEASE!!
Thank the aldermen for their leadership and ask them to stick to the option C as proposed which includes Brownland Farm. This area does not need any more dense developments no matter what sewer basin it is in, as supported by 1938 of you signing this petition. Signatures are still coming in this morning so please get those emails out today and help Keep Williamson County Livable. Email now! Addresses below.
- Special area plan is needed for NW Quadrant to preserve the character and last pastorial landscape
- Option C suggested by Aldermen states as follows: C:Request that the Franklin Municipal Planning Commission complete a “Small Area Plan” for the entire West Harpeth area (the area generally west of the new section of Mack Hatcher Parkway, between Hillsboro Road and Highway 96 West) that is currently designated as the Conservation and Conservation Subdivision Design Concepts in Envision Franklin, inclusive of public engagement on future land use, local road network, floodplain management/flood resilience, and public water and sanitary sewer infrastructure, with details to guide future development in the area.
- This quadrant has boundaries that includes Brownland
- Keep Brownland in the Special Area Plan
