The revised Brownland Development Plan will be presented by the developer on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 7:00 PM. This is an in person public hearing to be held at Franklin City Hall Boardroom. Please attend this meeting and speak to the issues and support the Franklin City Planning Staff, as they are NOT recommending this plan be approved. The Planning Commission will decide whether or not to accept this recommendation, so we need to attend and send emails. If the commission votes it down, the developer can still take it before BOMA for approval. The developer has been giving private tours of the property to the Aldermen trying to gain support from them, so we really need your help.
Here is a where you can find the plan. Copy and paste this to your browser, go to the 6-24 Planning Commission Meeting and under files select download>packet. Please review and be informed.

Project starts on page 40 and the staff recommendation memo is the first document. A screen shot of this memo is in this update.
We need your help to send emails by Wed 6-23 NOON to the Planning Commission, BOMA and the Planning Staff.
Email Subject should read:
Brownland — Vote NO — Items 6,7,8 (2021-05, 2021-53, 2021-54)
In your own words, please ask them to vote NO and to support their staff recommendation. State also any other issues that personally affect those that live in this community other than what the staff has submitted.
This development is not in the best interest of future home owners or the already established communities in this floodplain and floodway. It is not a plan that will provide for the health, welfare and safety for the community, or our kids in school just down the road, especially when you change the natural lay of the land along the river.
