Birch Solar 1, LLC is a 2,345 acre utility-scale industrial solar complex planned for Allen/Auglaize County, Ohio.  The staff at the Ohio Power Siting Board (the governmental agency which issues needed permits to construct the development) has already recommended denial of this project.  However, actual Board Members of the Ohio Power Siting Board can over rule this recommendation.
