Ok here it is.  At the corner of Rt 3 and Somerville Rd. A residential mental health facility.  Here is their narrative....

If you read the below link you will see the planners are all excited that this fits the GWAP and will be a wonderful addition to our neighborhood. First,  I'm not anti mental health, I have family members that suffer,  including 1 that suffers from a complex psychiatric condition. Even she states neighborhoods are NOT the place for these facilities. 

What is a complex psychiatric conditon? Complex mental health issues include, not limited to, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder and psychosis, Bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder (BPD),
Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD and dissociative disorders.

They are considered complex not just based on their etiology but their lack of response to conventional treatment. 

I AM PRO MENTAL HEATH. IN THE RIGHT FACILITY, IN THE RIGHT LOCATION. 

Planning commission meeting Jan 18, 2024 at 6pm in the government safety building across the street from the Orange Airport on Rt 20.
