The Prof. John Evans Atta Mills Presidential Library in Cape Coast has been abandoned since 2016. 

This library, the first presidential library in Ghana, which was sponsored by telecommunication brands such as Vodafone [now Telecel], Airtel & Tigo [now AirtelTigo] and built by Mamdev Ghana Limited, and sits face to face the Cape Coast Castle has been left to rot after it was commissioned in 2016. 

This year, makes it the 8th year, for which it has been left dormant and the facility is rotting away. 

The library has a conference hall, multimedia room, e-lecture halls, offices, reception, secretariat, VVIP Lounge, kitchen, museum, roof terrace garden, among other facilities to enable it function as a research and memorabilia hub for the late President.

We, citizens and concerned youth of Cape Coast [home and abroad] demand that the Atta Mills library be fixed and operationalized by the end of the year 2024.  #revivetheattamillslibrary
