As a property owner at Tides Caravan Park, I, like many others, was drawn to this investment with the promise of having regular access to the swimming pool throughout the week. It’s a promise that greatly influences the quality of life here, as the pool is more than just a recreational facility; it's a vital community hub that fosters health, wellness, and social connections.

Unfortunately, recent changes have seen the pool operate only from Friday to Monday, severely impacting the accessibility for owners, especially when weekends are crowded with families visiting, limiting our opportunities to enjoy this essential amenity. Many of us chose this location, not only for the beauty and serenity it offers but specifically for these facilities that support an active lifestyle. This decision was made while site fees continue to rise, intensifying our disappointment.

Swimming pools serve a crucial role in maintaining physical health—they offer a relaxing, low-impact exercise alternative that is especially beneficial for adults and older residents seeking to maintain mobility and fitness. Losing the ability to utilize this facility during less crowded weekdays undermines our ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle as was initially promised.

By opening the pool on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, we can ensure equitable access for all owners. This would not only make use of the pool more comfortable but also fulfill the original intent of providing a comprehensive living experience.

We have been faithful to our agreements, paying elevated site fees, and complying with regulations under the premise of full weekly access to the pool. It’s only fair and just that the management honors its agreement and respects our commitment.

We urge the management of Tides Caravan Park to reconsider and amend the pool's operating schedule to include these weekdays. By doing so, they would reinforce the community's well-being and reaffirm the trust and satisfaction of all property owners.
