The Issue

As a resident of Redpoint Tallahassee, I find it deeply frustrating that the community pool has been closed for months, depriving many of us of an essential amenity. We all pay our fair share to be part of this community, expecting to enjoy the facilities and benefits that come with it. In the sweltering heat of Tallahassee summers, a visit to the pool is not just a leisure activity but a necessary respite from the oppressive temperatures.

When we moved to Redpoint Tallahassee, the community pool was touted as a keystone amenity—a space for relaxation, family gatherings, and exercise. Now, those promises feel empty as the pool remains closed with no clear timeline or communication regarding its reopening. This is not just about enjoying a swim; it's a matter of enhancing our quality of life and offering a community space for all residents.

The closure of the pool has been a significant disappointment, impacting not just me but hundreds of residents who eagerly await its reopening. We have families, working professionals, and students who all deserve access to facilities for which they have financially committed.

We urge the Redpoint Tallahassee management to prioritize the reopening of the community pool by Summer 2026. Transparent communication about any ongoing maintenance issues is also essential, so residents understand the delays and the steps being taken to resolve them.

This petition is a call to action for the Redpoint Tallahassee management. We ask that community funds be optimally utilized to address maintenance concerns and expedite necessary repairs or upgrades to ensure the pool is open and accessible by the requested timeline.

By signing this petition, we unite our voices to demand our community pool—an essential element of our community experience—be made available to all Redpoint Tallahassee residents by Summer 2026. Join us in holding the management accountable and restoring the vibrant community space we all deserve.
