The PCMC ground ( Balasaheb Kunjir Ground)  is the only open space of its kind available for Residents of Pimple Saudagar. And it is popular among residents of all ages. On weekdays and weekends, the ground is packed with enthusiastic youngsters to play different kind of sports like Cricket, Football, running. Morning and evening sports enthusiasts are a common sight at the ground on a daily basis. Since March 2023 all of a sudden PCMC officials have announced that Cricket and other sports are not allowed. While this is multipurpose sports ground major exhibitions and cultural activities too are organised regularly at this ground. Cricket and football is not allowed because joggers are getting affected whereas there are multiple parks created for walking and jogging. People are not using those parks and walking on this playground. This is the only ground to play sports for local Youngsters and Professionals. We want to change the proposed rules of stopping sports and opening it only for Joggers. Please support this petition to save this ground and encourage our youngsters to play outdoor sports instead of online games.
