As a regular visitor to the Northeast Regional Park, Please open the soccer nets at Northeast Regional Park for public use during daylight hours or from when the park opens to the park closes. I believe this should be done for multiple reasons such as encouraging people to go to the park more to practice, promote healthy activity in the community, help players get ready to perform for their games or practices. I truly believe it is unfair to the people of Polk county to not be able to have the park equipment we paid for in tax money open and the only way for these nets to be unlocked or for use it to rent the fields for a game or practice. I truly understand the aspect of renting the fields for a return on how much money you’ve spent on park equipment but on days there are no scheduled practices or games I believe these should be open for free use from when the park opens to when it closes. Hopefully you see this and realize how beneficial this change would be and apply it to our park. Thank you and have a great day impact on our community's health and happiness.
