We express our deep concern regarding the ongoing and well‑documented human rights violations committed by the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran against peaceful demonstrators. Credible reports indicate that security forces have carried out widespread and systematic attacks on civilians, conduct that may amount to crimes under international law, including crimes against humanity.

The Islamic Republic has used unlawful and excessive force against protesters. The judiciary, operating under the authority of the Supreme Leader, lacks independence and is unable to conduct impartial investigations or prosecutions. As a result, victims and families are denied effective remedies, reflecting a persistent pattern of judicial impunity.

In recent weeks, peaceful demonstrators across Iran have protested deteriorating economic and social conditions. Instead of addressing these grievances, state forces have reportedly used live ammunition, excessive force, and arbitrary detention, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries.

The government’s repeated internet shutdowns further obstruct documentation, communication, and access to information. These actions violate Iran’s obligations under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), including:

 

* Article 6 (right to life)

* Article 19 (freedom of expression and access to information)

* Article 21 (right of peaceful assembly)

* Article 22 (freedom of association)

Your Excellency,

Our families, friends, and fellow citizens face escalating repression and imminent danger. In light of the scale and systematic nature of these violations, we respectfully urge the United Nations to take all appropriate measures to prevent further loss of life and ensure accountability.

We request that you:

* Publicly condemn the unlawful use of lethal force against peaceful demonstrators

* Call for the immediate restoration of unrestricted internet access

* Call for the release of all detainees and political prisoners, including those arrested for exercising their rights to peaceful assembly and expression

* Support the establishment of an independent international investigative mechanism to examine alleged violations, including potential crimes against humanity

* Facilitate the creation of an independent investigative council inside Iran, operating under UN supervision, mandated to investigate killings, injuries, and other serious violations committed against demonstrators

* Urge Iranian authorities to comply fully with their obligations under the ICCPR and other international human rights instruments

* Coordinate diplomatic efforts to protect civilians and prevent further escalation

The people of Iran deserve more than mere verbal support; urgent and concrete actions are required to save human lives. At this very moment, as you read these words, the lives of several honorable and freedom-loving individuals in Iran are being taken.

ما نگرانی عمیق خود را نسبت به نقض‌های گسترده و مستند حقوق بشر توسط مقامات جمهوری اسلامی ایران علیه معترضان مسالمت‌جو ابراز می‌کنیم. گزارش‌های معتبر نشان می‌دهد که نیروهای امنیتی دست به حملات گسترده و سازمان‌یافته علیه غیرنظامیان زده‌اند؛ اقداماتی که می‌تواند مصداق جنایات مشمول حقوق بین‌الملل از جمله جنایت علیه بشریت باشد.

جمهوری اسلامی از زور غیرقانونی و مفرط علیه معترضان استفاده کرده است. قوه‌ی قضاییه، که تحت اختیار و نظارت رهبر جمهوری اسلامی عمل می‌کند، فاقد استقلال بوده و قادر به انجام تحقیقات بی‌طرفانه نیست. در نتیجه، قربانیان و خانواده‌های آنان از دسترسی به یک نهاد قضایی بی‌طرف محروم می‌مانند؛ وضعیتی که بازتاب‌دهنده‌ی یک نهاد قضایی معیوب در جمهوری اسلامی است.

در هفته‌های اخیر، معترضان مسالمت‌جو در سراسر ایران نسبت به وخامت شرایط اقتصادی و اجتماعی اعتراض کرده‌اند. به‌جای پاسخ‌گویی به این مطالبات مشروع، نیروهای حکومتی شامل نیروهای مسلح پلیس و یگان‌های ضدشورش به کرات از تیر جنگی، خشونت مفرط و بازداشت‌های خودسرانه علیه غیرنظامیان بی‌دفاع استفاده کرده‌اند که به کشته و زخمی شدن شمار زیادی از معترضان انجامیده است.

قطع‌های مکرر و سراسری اینترنت نیز روند مستندسازی، ارتباطات و دسترسی به اطلاعات را مختل کرده است. این اقدامات ناقض تعهدات ایران تحت میثاق بین‌المللی حقوق مدنی و سیاسی (ICCPR) است، از جمله:

* ماده‌ی ۶ (حق حیات)

* ماده‌ی ۱۹ (آزادی بیان و دسترسی به اطلاعات)

* ماده‌ی ۲۱ (حق تجمع مسالمت‌آمیز)

* ماده‌ی ۲۲ (آزادی تشکل)

 

عالیجناب،

خانواده‌ها، خویشاوند ها ، دوستان و هم‌میهنان ما با سرکوب فزاینده و خطری فوری روبه‌رو هستند. با توجه به ابعاد و ماهیت سازمان‌یافته‌ی  نقض‌ حقوق شهروندی و انسانی ، ما محترمانه از سازمان ملل متحد درخواست می‌کنیم که تمامی اقدامات لازم را برای جلوگیری از تلفات بیشتر و تضمین پاسخ‌گویی از جانب حکومت به‌کار گیرد.

ما از جنابعالی درخواست می‌کنیم:

* محکومیت علنی استفاده‌ی غیرقانونی از نیروی مرگبار علیه معترضان

* درخواست برای بازگرداندن فوری دسترسی بدون محدودیت به اینترنت

* درخواست برای آزادی تمامی بازداشت‌شدگان و زندانیان سیاسی، از جمله افرادی که به دلیل اعمال حقوق مشروع خود در زمینه‌ی تجمع و بیان  بازداشت شده‌اند

* حمایت از ایجاد یک سازوکار بین‌المللی مستقل تحقیقاتی برای بررسی نقض‌های ادعایی، از جمله احتمال ارتکاب جنایت علیه بشریت

* تسهیل تشکیل یک شورای مستقل حقیقت‌یاب در داخل ایران تحت نظارت مستقیم سازمان ملل، با مأموریت تحقیق درباره‌یکشتار، جراحات و سایر نقض‌های جدی صورت‌گرفته علیه معترضان

* ترغیب مقامات جمهوری اسلامی به پایبندی کامل به تعهدات خود تحت ICCPR و سایر اسناد بین‌المللی حقوق بشر

* هماهنگی تلاش‌های دیپلماتیک برای حفاظت از غیرنظامیان و جلوگیری از تشدید بحران

مردم ایران فقط شایسته‌ی حمایتهای لفظی نیستند بلکه اقدامات فوری و عملی برای نجات جان انسانها لازم است. در همین لحظاتی که این نوشته را میخوانید جان چندین انسان شریف و آزاده در ایران گرفته شده است.
