The Issue

The Los Angeles City College track and soccer field has been an essential part of the well-being of the local community for years.  In one of the most densely populated areas of the city, it is an essential space for the physical and mental health of everyone from children to seniors.

Despite, being part of a public institution funded by taxpayers, the LACC track and soccer field has recently been closed to the public.  What was once a safe space for children to play soccer or elders to go for their daily walks, has now been shuttered with no explanation.  It is not even open for LACC students and staff.

Pleas sign the petition to pressure the administration to reopen the track to the public.  This is vital for the health of our community!

Once we receive enough signatures we will submit this to city council members and the LACCD board.
