Beach Drive, located between Cedar Lane and Knowles Ave, has become a crucial part of routine travel for the local community. Its early closure on Fridays severely affects the accessibility of our neighborhood, particularly on weekdays when many individuals are going to and returning home from work and school. The current closures on Fridays has been restrictive and a source of inconvenience for many, adding long times to commutes, contesting other local neighborhoods, and extending emergency vehicle response times. 

It is important to accommodate and consider the needs of every individual in our community and guarantee them hassle-free movement throughout the week to their homes that were purchased with location in mind. We believe that this change in operation hours is critical. 

Let’s unite to bring about this change to the FRIDAYS “Open Roads Program”.
