I am a resident of Fair Oaks, CA and like many others in our community, I have been struggling with the lack of access to high-quality products, particularly produce and meat. Our town deserves better. We deserve access to fresh, organic food that supports our health and well-being.

According to the USDA Food Access Research Atlas, parts of Fair Oaks are considered low-access areas for supermarkets (USDA Economic Research Service). This means that many residents have limited options when it comes to purchasing groceries. Furthermore, studies show that having access to stores like Whole Foods Market, Nuggets Market or Sacramento Natural Foods Co Op can significantly improve dietary quality (American Journal of Preventive Medicine).

The recent availability of the commercial space, previously Scandinavian Design, in our town provides an excellent opportunity for these premium grocery chains to establish their presence here. By doing so, they would not only be supporting the health and wellness needs of our community but also contributing positively towards local economic growth of the Village. 

We urge Whole Foods Market or other similar premium organic grocery stores such as Nuggets Market to consider opening a branch in Fair Oaks. Our community is ready and eager for better food and beverage options.
