Open a Lush store in Wichita, Kansas
The Issue
For years, I've been a dedicated user of Lush products, and like many others in Wichita, I've traveled countless miles to visit the Lush stores in Overland Park and Denver. Each visit, I meet fellow Wichitans who are also making these long trips just to experience the unique, high-quality, and sustainable products that Lush offers. It only makes sense for us to have our very own Lush store in Wichita.
Lush is known for its commitment to ethical buying, fighting animal testing, and providing handmade and environmentally friendly cosmetics. However, the absence of a Lush store near Wichita forces many of us to settle for less eco-conscious products or travel extensively. This distance not only creates inconvenience but contradicts Lush’s own philosophy of reducing carbon footprints.
Wichita's population has grown to nearly 400,000 residents, forming a large customer base for Lush. The demand here is evident from the frequent comments made by Lush staff about the regular influx of Wichitans at their distant locations. By opening a store in Wichita, Lush could significantly expand its reach and impact in the central United States.
A Lush store would benefit the Wichita community by providing access to the brand's cruelty-free and natural product range while creating jobs and boosting the local economy. Consider the positive environmental implications of reducing travel emissions for those of us currently forced to make the trek out of state.
