Cari amici,
Dato che siamo stati dichiarati colpevoli il 9 Aprile, siamo ora in attesa delle sentenze che saranno dichiarate il 24 Aprile. E’ alquanto probabile che io sia mandato in prigione quel giorno stesso. Nel verdetto il giudice ha commentato che siamo stati ingenui a credere che l’occupazione potesse portare la democrazia a Hong Kong.
Rimango ingenuo oggi credendo che la detenzione, se avrà effetto alcuno, sarà quello di dare nuova vita al nostro movimento. Spero che possiate continuare a sensibilizzare le persone sul modo in cui la Cina continua ad esercitare il suo “potere duro” su Hong Kong e su come il regime stia diventando sempre più repressivo nei confronti di Hong Kong.
