Online Public Petition to urge Senator Mitch McConnell to step down from the Senate Leadership Position

(January 6th - What did you know and when did you know?)

To: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell

We do understand Sir, that you were elected as the Senator for the State of Kentucky. However, the positions of Senate Majority Leader and Senate Minority Leader are National positions and anyone holding these monumental positions are answerable for the whole voter base and the voters expect you to take care of their needs wherever appropriate. Hence this petition will be signed by voters residing in all different States for the reasons illustrated below.

At present public is gathering more and more knowledge as to what actually took place on that gloomy day and it is not what the liberal media wants to portrait. Of course, as Republicans we have the solid stand that law breakers should be punished but the punishment should be proportional to the offence. The blatant double standard is being conducted, if not controlled will end the freedom of everyone living in this country. As the minority leader we expected you to use the profound role of your position to take care of the voters’ interests. 

At the very outset leading into this day of shame, the overall picture is, as the Majority Leader and the Minority Leader you failed miserably. We have listed below the major failures of you Sir, and if you do not have answers to the questions, we most respectfully ask you to step down from your position of Senate Minority Leadership:

Make public your communication with Senate Sergeant at Arms on January 6th, (The first blunder done by you) You failed to guide your Senate Sergeant at Arms Michael Stenger to communicate and coordinate with the House Sergeant at Arms to deploy the National Guard Troops  to prevent the calamity in the first place. 

Make public the report -Where is the report from Senate Sergeant at Arms at the time of his getting fired? - After the disgusting activity you failed to get a comprehensive report from Senate Sergeant at Arms Mr. Michael Stenger when you let him go (Fired him) over the failing to protect the capitol. What further action did you take Sir?

128 Page Senate By-Partisan Report – It is actually a score card of “evading the call of duty”. Anyone meticulously reading it would realize that there were elements within security structure who were supposed to protect the building and the occupants did the exact opposite because they had a desire to have a chaotic situation without showing their hands. This means the recommendations the committee proposes may not be much of a value as this core factor has been ignored. In our view the procedures and tools were all there but they were deliberately not used. Furthermore, we are shocked that the Senate Committee of Investigations took no further action no subpoena issued to testify under oath, when Department of Justice, DHS the Office of the House of Representatives Sergeant at Arms did not fully comply with the Committees’ information requests, and a USCP Deputy Chief of Police declined to be interviewed by the Committees. What we believe the main recommendation by the committee should have been to reiterate the fact that it is the Speaker of the House and Senate Majority Leader who needs to answer to the public and not Sergeants at Arms on such a breach of Security in Capitol Building. What action did you take Sir?

 “Peacefully and Patriotically” Two missing words: Appendix B of Senate Report:  Transcript of President Trump’s Speech at the “Save America Rally” on January 6, Senate committee misses the two crucial words “I know some of you will walk to the capital building and “peacefully” and “patriotically” make your voices heard to urge the Vice President to only accept lawful electoral colleges. What did you do about that omission Sir? What action did you take?

Why were National Guards refused? – When Nancy Pelosi and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser refused President Trump’s approved 10,000 to 15,000 National Guards, was anything done by you? To come to know later Speaker Pelosi didn’t want National Guards to avoid bad optics. (There are four witnesses including Mr. Mark Meadows and Mr. Kash Patel to confirm this approval by President Trump). What action did you take Sir?

Death of your Senate Sergeant at Arms - Even after the mysterious death of Mr. Michael Stenger on June 26, 2022 one day before his congressional hearing, what action you take on this Sir?

Speaker Pelosi’s bias illegitimate Committee on January 6th. - Where Congressman Jim Jordon and Jim Banks were removed and included Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger both of them are haters of President Trump. What action did you take Sir?

Speaker off limits? – When the House Committee decided “Speaker is off Limits” Why didn’t you use power of your position to insist that nobody is above the law like Democrats always say specially when it comes to President Trump and get her to testify under oath? It is strange that it did not occur to you that is suspicious. What action did you take Sir?

Speake Pelosi’s stolen laptop - Why is it when this spiteful woman Pelosi who ripped the State of the Union document did not pursue the complaint that Trump supporters stole her laptop and when inquired further went soft on the whole complaint and said “No biggie that laptop was only used for presentations”. What action did you take Sir?

After keeping 14 thousand hours of Video hidden from the public – Reports say. You failed to demand that the public should have access to these videos. Finally when Tucker Carlson program exposed to find out even Jacob Chansley with his notorious costume was escorted in, you observed complete silence. When questioned about this your answer was you will go with Capital Police report which was despicable with all due respect as the the public knew that this report is just a hogwash. Why did you decide that there was no further action necessary Sir?

Chiseling the Capital Building Window – The whole world saw this culprit committing this crime. What was he charged with and what punishment did he get? What action did you take Sir?

Bombs at RNC and DNC Headquarters - What happened to the two bombs that were set up in front of RNC and DNC? It seems to us that there was a lot you could have done to find the criminals enforcing your position as the Senate Majority Leader on the day of the calamity or thereafter as minority leader. What action did you take Sir?

Killing Ashly Babbitt: Why didn’t you make a statement on the shooting death of Air Force veteran Ashly Babbitt? If the shoot to kill was so justified why it took months for the Capital Hill Police Officer to be identified and come out and admit his mistake? What action did you take Sir?

Death of Police Officers - Days following the shameful event deaths of following police officers occurred:

Brian Sicknick January 7th, Howard Liebengood January 9th Jeffry Smith January 15th Could it be that these officers had clues to suspect it is an inside job resulting in mental devastation that contributed to their demise? Sir did you contact the families of these fallen officers’? What action did you take Sir?

Mathew Martin - Only one Trump supporter was set free by judge McFadden in short order that we know of, because his lawyer proved with video recording from his phone that the Capitol Police waved him in. Did it not hint you something nefarious happened? What action did you take Sir?

With mountains of new evidence coming in, way ahead of the violence, you had enough authority to inform Speaker Pelosi that optics is not an excuse to jeopardize the security of the Capital. Therefore, our assessment is, just as the liberal media it seems that either you haven’t heard that President Trump said “Peacefully and Patriotically” march to the Capital. Sir if you were not complacent but even indifferent about what was happening, that itself is enough reason for you to step down  from Senate Minority Leadership position in our view. Therefore, Sir what action did you take?

Sir did you see the latest NBC Lester Holt’s report on January 31st  2023, relating to January 6th? - It is by Justice and Intelligence correspondents Ken Dilanian and Ryan J Reilly. Please see the link below. It details the riot could have been avoided. In fact, by and large people see it as a willful negligence by people who was supposed to protect the premises. Are you willing to take any action now Sir?

Addendum

It was brought to our attention by some, that the petition is factual and they like to sign it, as January 6th incident was a national embarrassment regardless of party affiliation but reluctant to do so because they are not Republicans. Therefore, through this Addendum, “Others” were added to the list of Signatories. The definition of “Others” for the purpose of this petition, will include Independents Democrats, and also even well-wishes for USA, who are citizens of other countries. Signatories also have the option to add a comment that he or she is not a Republican.
