6 years ago I moved to Wisconsin from Virginia. I had never really had a solid standing wherever I lived because there was always a chance of moving.

But, I never fit in. Not long after moving covid hit and I was stuck being homeschooled, I didn’t even get the chance to truly enjoy Wisconsin. 

In 2024 I met some of my closest friends, and I got over my social anxiety. So many people touched my heart and truly helped me become who I am today.

With all of that, I was promised by my parents that we’d stay here until I graduated, so that if I wanted to stay I could. But, clearly, they didn’t hold up to that promise. They allowed me to finally actually settle in and stop having the constant fear of moving, then ripped it up.

my mom promised to me that with 100,000 signatures I can stay another year, which will give me a more proper time to process and truly appreciate the home I have here before starting a new journey.
