As many of you know, Matthew Patrick aka MatPat is leaving YouTube on March 9, 2024. MatPat is most well known for his channels Game Theory, Film Theory, Food Theory and Style Theory. However, since 2015, he has also ran a live streaming channel (which also does regular uploads now) called GTLive.

Although GTLive posts Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, we rarely get live streams on the channel like we used to, with the most recent stream having been in September of 2023.

While Matthew plans to stay on GTLive until the end of the summer, his departure is still going to hit the community hard. That being said, the theorist fan community would love one last GTLive livestream before Matthew either leaves the channels on March 9th or leaves GTLive at the end of the summer. This livestream we’d love to be a reunion stream to celebrate GTLive and the channels as a whole and usher in the new era. For this stream we would love to have MatPat on the couch joined by his wife Stephanie who used to co-run GTLive, Jason and Chris who used to be behind the scenes on GTLive, Mirror Matt who used to be behind the scenes on GTLive and Ash who is the person currently behind the scenes at GTLive. With the old hosts/crew and the new host/crew we feel as though this Live would be what the Theorist fans want of a finally goodbye from Matthew and Stephanie.
