Mark Proksch; a man who brings smiles and laughter to everyone he is around. This 5’11” celebrity impersonator warmed the hearts of people around the globe as the deceased turn of the century comedian, WC Fields. One of his most notable appearances was during the iconic second On Cinema At The Cinema Oscar Special, which landed him a permanent gig on the infamous movie review web show. Marks feature on the show was sadly short lived, due to creative differences between the shows father and hot headed host Tim Heidecker, and his resident movie buff guest, Gregg Turkington. During Marks two appearances as WC Fields, he captivated hearts with a segment named ‘Golden Age Comedies’, where WC Fields would give his review of famous popcorn classic comedies from movies past. Many watchers of On Cinema had their hearts and laughs ripped from them once Tim announced Mark would no longer be making an appearance for his segment. It has lingered in our minds ever since, and today; we stand together to sign this petition to bring Mark back as WC!
