Consideration for OLFU students

Consideration for OLFU students
The Issue
We, the students of Our Lady of Fatima University, would like to ask the board and executives of the University to make a consideration for the OLFU student body.
· Tuition fees – the students may not have the financial capability in order to enroll or pay their dues in the past semester due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine as they may have been affected by the “no work, no pay”. We ask that the dues for finals be refunded (for fully-paid students) or the dues be waived to help the families of the student with the financial crisis happening right now.
· Grades – the students who may have received a failing grade for their prelim and midterm, would’ve wanted to up their grades in the final term, but due to the lockdown and CHED’s advisory, will not be able to do so. We ask that the deans and faculty may give a considerable grade to all the students as they may be suffering from not only the anxiety of repeating the subject, but also the anxiety of not being able to take that subject because they will not be financially able to do so.
· Online classes – the students may not have the capability to fulfill the requirements that need to be submitted online for various reasons, some have very poor internet connection, especially those who decided to go to their respective provinces for the duration of the lockdown. And there are also students who may not have their own computers or devices in order to complete the requirements. There are students who may need to look for an open computer shop (which may violate social distancing).
We ask for the utmost consideration from our University with humble hearts.
