We as parents protect our children at least try to, we send our children to school hoping they will be safe. In reality they are not. Bullying is a huge problem in our schools, and it needs to stop. When our children finally stand their ground and protect themselves they end up being the ones who are punished, or a target at school, and even attacked after schools. Oklahoma has had many suicides over bullying, and the school system has failed our community. It's time to make a stand against bullying and attacks. We as parents put our trust in our Lawton schools to protect our children to receive a education, but if children are being bullied or attack, how can our children receive a education if they fear for their lives..... Kids who have been bullied, who have reported it and nothing has been done have the right to stand up for themselves and not be punished for it.... We need a stronger policy, we need parents to take responsibility for their kids. Fine parents with fees. Teachers, Principal's, whoever it may be who doesn't help should be held accountable if our bully policy is not used. There are to many suicides, we shouldn't have to worry if the next one might be our child its time to make a stand. Make a difference, these children are our future.
