These companies are limiting the chances for positive change. These are not realistic time frames. 67% of offenders become repeat offenders within three years of release. 76% within five years of release. There is an urgent need to judge each case individually. Don't hire people with charges related to the position. Without this adjustment, society as a whole is encouraging a life of crime. The benefits of this would reduce the crime rate, enable tax dollars to be spent elsewhere, and help to motivate offenders to reintegrate with society. Support second chances and felon-friendly employment! Nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes. Encourage positive changes!
