Soon Chris Penk, Minister for Building and Constuction will decide the fate of Watts Peninsula on the Northern tip of the Miramar Peninsula. 
 
We the undersigned join Fran Walsh and Peter Jackson in supporting the creation of The Watts Peninsula Reserve. 
 
Long-promised by the government in 2011 the 76 hectares includes: 
 
.- Significant Pa sites and burial grounds. 
- The James Coutts Crawford Farm, operating since 1839. 
- The Miramar Prison Garden, now a community garden with 75 members. 
 
We also call on Minister Penk to include the historically significant Mt Crawford Prison (1927) in the new reserve.
