The government of Tamil Nadu has decided to permit cinema halls to function at 100% capacity despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This is a huge public health hazard as sitting in an air conditioned hall without social distancing creates a hazardous situation for everybody. Please sign this petition in the interest of the front line workers, police, revenue officials and the vulnerable groups. We cannot afford to have another wave/lock down.
