Board Members with Orange County Public Schools are working on splitting MetroWest Elementary School into two separate schools located on the existing site.  They are proceeding to do so stating that the community is in favor of this project and that they have heard from only a few parents and area residents that are not in favor of this project.

Other options are available, they are not easy, they are not quick.  This petition requests the School Board Members to cease moving forward with the plan to split the school on the existing site and work towards an alternate solution that is viewed more favorably by the parents and area residents signing this petition.
