The objectification of women is horrible and i think that it needs to be stopped. Women or young girls live in fear and discomfort everyday because they are being objectifyed and sexualized, which is wrong. Most girls at school aren’t aloud to wear spaghetti strap tops, skirts above the knees, and even ripped jeans. I think that the dress code is just ridiculous. Girls should be able to wear whatever they feel comfortable in, I get if someone was wearing super short shorts or something extremely revealing, that is understandable, but besides that i really don’t see the need to objectify girls for what they wear. 

Moving on to tank tops and skirts. Why can’t girls wear tank tops? Is a boy really gonna get horny by seeing a girls shoulders or knees? I don’t think so. Therefore, there isn’t any reason why girls shouldn’t be aloud to wear things like this. I was always told to wear what you feel comfortable in, and if i feel comfortable in a skirt and tank top, then WHO CARES! 

To conclude this i think that, objectifying and sexualizing women for there bodies and what they wear NEEDS TO STOP. There is no excuse and we need to make a change for the better. Please sign my petition.
