Stop the proposed Solar Farm by Sunderland Association Football Club on prime farmland located on two fields one in Cleadon and another in Whitburn around their training ground . Solar farms should not be located on farmland / green belt when food security is also of huge concern in this uncertain world . The field in Cleadon subject of this proposal attracts thousands of birds every year due to its close location to Boldon Flats a local nature reserve . The visual impact to this beautiful part of South Tyneside will also be damaged . Solar panel farms should be kept to roofs , let’s protect the green belt
