The U.S. ARMY CORPS of ENGINEERS has caved in to the political pressure from the Democrats in power at the DuPage Forest Preserve District, and the BIG MONEY coming from powerful DuPage County real estate, engineering and banking businesses.

We fought hard to save the dam.  The Conservation Foundation, the Sierra Club and the DuPage County Forest Preserve collaborated and produced a story that makes no sense, but they were able to "sell" it to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, who have admitted that they checked NONE of the material submitted by those who want to blow up the dam....they took them at their word.
