It is important to emphasize that the actions of a few should not tarnish the reputation of the majority of law-abiding and peaceful Islamic centres.

Examples Highlighting the Need for Investigation:
We present several instances that underscore the urgency of conducting a thorough investigation:

United States: In 2020, the Imam Khomeini Islamic Cultural Centre in New York City was designated as a "specially designated global terrorist" organization by the Treasury Department. It was suspected that the centre operated as a front for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force (IRGC-QF) and provided support for their terrorist activities.

Canada: The Al-Quds Mosque in Ottawa faced sanctions from the Canadian government in 2021 for allegedly serving as a front for the IRGC-QF and aiding their terrorist activities.

European Union: The Imam Reza Islamic Cultural Centre in Vienna was designated as a "terrorist entity" in 2022. The European Union affirmed that the centre acted as a front for the IRGC-QF and facilitated their terrorist activities.

United Kingdom: In May 2023, the Islamic Centre of England, which was affiliated with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was closed following an investigation by the UK Charity Commission. The centre was found to promote the Iranian regime's ideology and support its terrorist activities.

Iran's Non-Compliance with International Standards:
Iran's failure to sign the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) and comply with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF)'s 40 Recommendations, which serve as international standards for combating money laundering and terrorist financing, is a cause for concern. This non-compliance enables Iran to finance its terrorist activities, thereby contributing to global instability.

Reasons for Investigation:
The petition outlines the following reasons for launching a comprehensive investigation:

National Security: Safeguarding our nations and citizens is of paramount importance. Thoroughly scrutinizing the connections between Islamic centres and the Iranian regime will help identify and neutralize any threats that may compromise national security.

Preservation of Religious Integrity: Upholding the integrity and reputation of Islamic centres and the broader Muslim community is crucial. A thorough investigation will distinguish between centres genuinely dedicated to fostering a peaceful environment and those with ulterior motives that undermine the core values of Islam.

Investigations are necessary to counter the propaganda machine of the IRGC and its potential influence over the mind of people in host countries. By conducting thorough investigations, we can expose any false narratives, Islamic radicalisation, fostering terrorism and disinformation campaigns that have poisoned public opinion against the Iranian diaspora. This will help clear the name of law-abiding Iranians diaspora and ensure that they are not unjustly stigmatized or discriminated against based on the actions of a few.

These investigations will help distinguish between Islamic centres that are genuinely dedicated to promoting peace and those that may be wrongly stigmatized. By identifying and highlighting the centres that are doing the right thing, we can remove the stigma associated with them and foster a more inclusive and understanding environment.

Ultimately, conducting investigations serves the larger goal of ensuring peace and harmony for the next generation to live in a diverse society. By addressing any potential collaboration between Islamic centres and the Islamic regime in Iran, IRGC Hezbollah and antisemitism, we can mitigate the risks of radicalisation, promote religious tolerance, and create an atmosphere where all communities can coexist harmoniously.

Addressing Antisemitism: Diligently examine any reported incidents or allegations of antisemitism within Islamic centres, fostering religious tolerance, respect, and inclusivity within our society.

If any links are uncovered between Islamic centres and the Iranian regime, we urge the respective governments to take decisive action by closing down these centres, seizing their assets, and expelling their organizational leaders.

مقدمه : ما، امضاکنندگان، این درخواست را به منظور جلب توجه فوری به مسئله بحرانی ارتباطات ممکن بین مراکز اسلامی و رژیم ایران یاگروه هاي نيابتي وابسته به آن، ارائه می‌ دهيم. نگرانی بالقوه ما، ایمنی، امنیت و رفاه جوامع ما در استرالیا، کانادا، اروپا، نيوزيلند، انگلستان و ایالات متحده است. در حالی که ما از صمیم قلب به ازادی هاي مذهبی و اعمال مسالمت امیز اسلام احترام می گذاریم، ضروری است که در برابر هرگونه بهره برداری از نهادهای مذهبی برای اهداف غیرقانونی هوشیار باشیم.

با توجه به سابقه حمایت رژیم ایران از ایدئولوژی های افراطی، بسیار مهم است که یک تحقیق بی طرفانه و جامع برای بررسی هرگونه همکاری بالقوه با مراکز اسلامی در سراسر جهان انجام شود. تاکید ميکنیم که اقدامات چند نفر نباید اعتبار اکثریت مراکز اسلامی مطیع قانون با فعاليت هاي صلح امیز را لکه دار کند.

بریتانیا: در ماه مي ٢٠٢٣، مرکز اسلامی انگلستان، که وابسته به ایت الله علی خامنه ای رهبر ایران بود، پس از تحقیقات کمیسیون خیریه بریتانیا بسته شد. این مرکز برای ترویج ایدئولوژی رژیم ایران و حمایت از فعالیت های تروریستی ان تاسیس شده بود.

عدم انطباق ایران با استانداردهای بین المللی: عدم امضای کنوانسیون سازمان ملل متحد علیه جرایم سازمان یافته فراملی (UNTOC) و پیروی از ٤٠ توصیه کارگروه اقدامهاي مالی (FATF) که به عنوان استانداردهای بین المللی برای مبارزه با پولشویی و تامین مالی تروریسم عمل می کند، باعث نگرانی است. این عدم پایبندی ایران را قادر می سازد تا فعالیت های تروریستی خود را تامین مالی کند و در نتیجه به بی ثباتی جهانی کمک کند.

این دادخواست دلایل زیر را برای به جريان انداختن یک تحقیق جامع تشریح می کند:

این دادخواست خواستار تحقیق در زمینه های زیر است: مشارکت در فعالیت های تروریستی: ما فورا از مقامات می خواهیم که هر گونه نشانه یا شواهدی از دخالت در فعالیت های تروریستی توسط افراد مرتبط با این مراکز اسلامی را با دقت بررسی کنند.

بررسی پیشینه: انجام بررسی های جامع پیشینه رهبران و پرسنل کلیدی مرتبط با مراکز اسلامی، توجه دقیق به هر گونه وابستگی یا ارتباطات که ممکن است نگرانی هایی را در مورد همکاری با رژیم ایران یا شبکه های تروريستي آن ایجاد کن
