There will be a meeting with Lombardo Homes (the developer for Shady Creek) this Thursday at 7pm at 8757 State Hwy N, Lake St Louis, MO 63367. This is at the Community Room located in the Cuivre River Electric Coop facility on Highway N near Lake St Louis Blvd. This meeting may be the only chance you have to engage Lombardo Homes directly before the next city council meeting on 9/25 and to supply them with any input and concerns you may have regarding the current plans for the development at Shady Creek. Hopefully, this will allow Lombardo Homes, our city council reps, and area residents and adjacent property owners in Briarchase, Preston Woods, Wyndgate, and the Manors at Glen Brook to work through their differences and come to an agreement that benefits all parties involved. As stated in this petition, our main goals are to eliminate or drastically reduce the commercial rezoning footprint and to mitigate or eliminate the threats of increased traffic and dangerous road conditions, as well as a decline in adjacent property values, by changing the proposed road configurations and updating the infrastructure along Highway N, Lake St Louis Blvd, and Paul Renaud Blvd. Other concerns, ideas, and opinions are also more than welcome.
