Nyx Cosmetics! It's time for an overhaul on the way you treat online customers!

The Issue

Everyone knows how hard it can be to find affordable makeup that has good quality... everyone also knows how easy it is to shop online now-a-days. What is not affordable or easy however is the HORRID online sales of Nyx Cosmetics. For many finding a local store that sells Nyx can be a nightmare and when you do find one most of the seals are broken, they are severely under stocked, or they don't even carry the products you are looking for.

Nyx's shipping and customer service is completely out of hand. Their site states the following:

STANDARD SHIPPING: ORDERS MAY TAKE UP TO 3 FULL BUSINESS DAYS TO BE PROCESSED - PLEASE ALLOW 7 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR YOUR ORDER TO ARRIVE.

But for Nyx processing on average over this last year has taken anywhere from one week to sometimes even two! And it can take OVER A MONTH for your package to even arrive to you. Of course Nyx normally charges your card 3 days after your online order is placed, meaning that even though it can take them half a month to process your order they will take your money ASAP. That's just wrong. 

On top of all this Nyx does not provide tracking numbers on their packages. A simple, extremely effective way to keep customers happy by letting them see where their package is and when it will be arriving. For a package not to have this provided now a days is frankly lazy and bad for business.

NYX DOES NOT RESPOND TO ANY INQUIRIES BY CUSTOMERS VIA EMAIL OR PHONE. Even calling during business hours will get you nothing but a voice mail where you can leave your number for a callback... you never get one no matter how often you call. Sending an email? Not a single response that way either.

NYX COSMETICS! We love your products. We love how adorable and yet beautiful your items are. When we put on Nyx cosmetics we feel amazing. What doesn't make us feel amazing is how horrible you treat us. You take our money and make us wait sometimes longer than a month for our products. You dodge calls, don't respond to emails, and you don't even provide us tracking numbers. We are completely shunned if we shop online and that shouldn't be the case. Online sales are a massive business but yet you abuse it.

After years of this its time to tell Nyx Cosmetics: We're tired of being ignored! If you can open full blown stores you can afford to take care of your online customers! 

  • Better Customer Service: Respond to your emails and calls!
  • Follow your shipping rules: No more 2+ week waits for products to "process"
  • Keep us informed: Provide tracking numbers to let us know where our products are.
  • Respect: This has been going on for years. Listen to your customers!

We love Nyx products. Please don't make us have to boycott the brand :(
