NYU Langone Health's Grossman School of Medicine is currently considering the hiring of David Sabatini, a man with a trail of sexual misconduct allegations dragging behind him. We want to urge NYU Langone to prevent the hiring of Sabatini in order to protect its employees from potential sexual harassment and harm. 

Sabatini was forced out of THREE institutions (MIT, MIT's Whitehead Institute, Howard Hughes Medical Institute) he previously worked for after numerous sexual harassment allegations against him. 

Hiring a man with a history of sexual abuse allegations will do more than stain NYU and NYU Langone's reputation. It will put many women and female-presenting individuals (if not others, too) at NYU at risk of acquiring a life-long trauma of being sexual violence victims. There have already been protests and backlash. 

This petition demands from NYU Langone School of Medicine reject the candidature of David Sabatini and NOT hire him for any position at the institution.
