MISSION:  

NYS ParoleCampaigns mission is to bring about substantive reform to the NYS Parole Board's decision-making processes so that all parole board release and denial determinations are based on                  "Truth-In-Parole".

GOAL/OBJECTIVE:

Our goal is to compel our state elected officials and the governor to take the necessary steps to incorporate truth, fairness, and transparency in parole board release and denial determinations. Our objective is to have public safety and residivism concerns reflect the views and positions of the "people of the state" and not select elected officials ,whose district benefit economically from mass incarceration.

VISION: 

Our vision is that New York's Division of Parole in general, and the parole board in particular, will serve as a model of fairness, transparency and accountability for other states to follow.

PLAN OF ACTION: 

Step 1- We will encourage our loved ones and supporters to write e-mails to Gov. Cuomo and their elected officials, recommending NYS Governor issue an Executive order establishing a "Commission on Parole Reform". ( The Commission will be chaeged with conducting a full review of the State's parole structure and practices and making recommendations for reform to all three branches of government.)  

Step 2- We will encourage our loved ones and supporters to sign this change.org potition for a "Commission on Parole Reform".
