On July 17, 1984, Angela Marie Wong 11 years old, was walking to the mall from her house and was later found drowned in a stream in the woods near her house, lying face down. The case was cold for years.

Seventeen years later, they arrested Manuel Pacheco, who was 15 at the time of the murder and a neighbor of Angela’s.

Pacheco was convicted of murder in the second degree and was sentenced to nine years to life in prison. He will have served only 12 years when he is considered for parole.

We, the undersigned, STRONGLY OPPOSE parole for Manuel Pacheco. Justice demands he serve the full prison term given to him at the time of his sentence.

Also, Angela has 2 brothers, 9 nephews, a niece, and her mom and dad that would be in grave danger if Manuel Pacheco were ever to be released.
